​Great Basin Naturalists School Field Studies

3-hour, 10-hour, Field Trips for K-12 Students

The Great Basin Naturalists School Field Studies program promotes environmental literacy and nurtures student relationships and knowledge of our local ecosystems, animals, plants, and more! Hands-on activities and inquiry-based education inspires and reinforces student learning of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) principles while following Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) in an engaging, outdoor setting.

Programs include:
3-hour Field Studies
Extended Day Field Studies
Great Basin Naturalists at Galena provide field study opportunities to all students, grades K through 12. Review our brochure below for more information on the different opportunities available.
